So…how did you do?? Did you cut down on those “killer” foods and stay fit and svelt??
Though I’m not too keen on the idea of New Year’s resolutions, I know many of you do make resolutions and have decided that 2012 is the year that you will move your assets more! Here is the one piece of advice I give (almost) everyone who wants to commit to become more fit:
Add, don’t subtract.
It’s a lot easier to add something positive to your life, like moving your assets, than to take away something (even if it’s a negative habit) like cigarette smoking or eating too much junk. I am in no way telling you NOT to quit smoking, but you’re only human! So start moving first and feel the positive benefits–and then you will WANT to get rid of bad habits.
I haven’t smoked in 24 years and I quit after I started taking as well as teaching aerobic classes…and I lost rather than gained weight.
